Mission Statement
Being a nurse is more than a job. It's a way of life
The purpose of the Association is to uphold the image and foster the welfare of Vietnamese American Nurses as a professional group, and to create value for the organization and the community. The objectives of the Association shall be;
VNF exists to:
1. Promote unity among Vietnamese-American Nurses in California.
2. Formulate and implement impactful strategies for acting on public policies and legislation which directly or indirectly affect the nursing profession.
3. Collaborate with other professional organizations in California in developing and implementing programs that promote professional excellence and produce nursing leaders, through education, research and mentoring.
4. Organize and actively participate in community health programs that promote disease prevention and health maintenance.
5. Create charitable endeavors that promote advancement of professional nursing, through scholarships and awards.
6. Strive for excellence and integrity, both professionally and personally.
